The idea was simple, if we took an oak barrel, miniaturized it and then stretched it upwards to maximize the surface area to volume ratio, could we accelerate the time it takes to impart oak aged flavor into its contents? And could we do this while creating a form factor that was simple to use and easier to handle? The Oak Bottle today is widely recognized as a must have bar tool all around the globe. Now anyone can customize their favorite wine, spirits, beer or cocktails by barrel aging in a matter of hours not years.
